The Goat Farm returns! PMBC  bring you the 2018 WAMBA XCO State Champs in one of the premier riding locations in WA.


Before you read the following information, please understand that you must register online before 11.59pm Friday the 31st of August. You cannot enter on race day

The Courses
The Courses will be marked on the Saturday in the afternoon. You will be able to familiarise yourself with the course on Saturday but please be advised you will be riding without club support on the Saturday.

There will be a two courses which will provide a great challenge for everyone Elite to Sport and in between. There will be one course which will have options for all skill levels of riders. The course have been set and marked by Robbie Rhodes and Rowan Brown so will be great, massive thanks to them both for assisting.

The State Championship race will follow MTBA categories as ran last year at the Goat Farm. This allows a stepping stone up to national level which follows MTBA categories.

Race Plates:
Your entry fee will include a specific state champs number plate so no need to bring your State series plate for this race!!!!!

Important If you raced A grade in the state series, then you can only ride Elite.       
  OR your respective age category - Not Expert      
Important Some categories may be combined if there are not enough riders.      
  MTBA Medals for all grades (While unlikely some may have to be supplied post event)      
  All Catergory winners will receive a custom ceremonial race plate post the event      
  The courses are NOT as hard as last years state champ courses      
Important Actual start times and LAPS listed may be reviewed and changed slightly on the day      


Your age is based on how old you will be on the last day of this year. eg if you are 18 now, but turn 19 this year, you are not Under 19.


Entry fees are:
You must register online before 11.59pm Thursday  31st of August. You cannot enter on race day

Seniors: $40

Rider Etiquette
Please be courteous to other riders while racing. Call ahead your intentions to pass and clearly state on which side you wish to pass. If you are caught up by someone in another category let them past ASAP. Any riders found to be behaving inappropriately will be disqualified.
If you find someone injured on course, please stay with that person and await the next rider, tell them to proceed to the Finish area and state position of injured rider, we will place you according to your position in the race and you get your next race entry for free.

The Timing Team will be posting up results asap, so please be kind and refrain from asking them for your position while they are working. Live results will be available whenever possible.
