Forsyth's Mill
At a Glance
A shining example of a well-maintained, DEC-approved single track mountain bike trail.
The Forsyth's Mill trailhead is located by the corner of Great Eastern Highway and Gorry (also spelt Gorrie) Road past Sawyers Valley - about 1km on the right past the Lake Leschenaultia turn off. It's roughly 45km from the centre of Perth.
The Forsyth's Mill historical site contains a shining example of a well-maintained, DEC-approved single track mountain bike trail.
Whilst it doesn't offer a lot in terms of elevation change, the trail can be ridden fast and hard and will still provide great wearying enjoyment for pro and beginner alike. It offers the odd berm, drop, sweeping singletrack, rhythm sections, bucket loads of WA's finest pea gravel, and also boasts Perth's first legitimate shore-style feature.
