Hi all!
Anyone up for a ride this sunday morning, say 8.30 am start at Pickering Brook Deli. It's about a 2 hr loop - an even pace should see us do about a 20+km ride. Keep the raceface at home and just enjoy. Weather is not going to be too hot either. The more the merrier so all welcome!! Post here or you can text me on 0419 906 896.

As I won't be in Church, you can count me in.

How fast is an even pace?

XC PLODSTER's picture

Hi Shifty!
even pace means we leave no-one behind....we're as fast as the slowest person - coz that could be me!! Look, if the pace is anything like the last J/DALE ride, it will be perfect....as I mentioned, if you want to race, it'll be a lonely loop for ya. Enjoy!!

Na mate, you have it the wrong way around, I have joined organized rides only to realize that the people organizing are hell fast.

Hope to see you there!

Shifty,
Dude, stop worrying. These are great guys and you will have a blast. Just get out there. Thats what its about.
Have a good ride guys and I reckon by lunch time I will wish I was with you and not facing the second 50ks of hill torture.
Mike.

Hey Shifty!
I do know what you mean but mtb'ers are usually really cool about making everyone feel part of the group.... as Steveo said, the pace is pretty easy......now, Head east out on Welshpool Rd, up over the hills, go to the end of this road, then turn right onto Canning Rd....the deli is just past where Canning Rd becomes Pickering Brook Rd, in the suburb of Pickering Brook..The deli is on the right hand side of the road - there is also a golf course just up from the deli - if you go past this, you've gone too far. My car is a white camry sedan. All riders welcome to join....See you there!!

Sorry - other plans for the long weekend, otherwise I would have loved to ride. With the rain during the week, it should be a good track.

Have fun,
Graeme

That sounds like a plan.
Always up for a new track!

Cheers,
Sam

Shifty, stop acting "innocent" mate! You're the super smasher! hahahaa

I'm the one who should be complaining... "social pace" "easy cruise" etc... and then BAM! I'm left there to ride alone from the very start.
