how ya goin. goin down to margs next weekend an just wonderin if its worth takin my pushy for dh if anybody knows if theres anythin dh or jump wise

Sorry to put a throw a wet blanket on carter rd, however If it were not a legal trail, Throwing a link or map up is not the politicaly correct thing to be doing on this website.
If it were a legal trail, then you would be able to find it on many websites, including DEC, margaret river tourism sites, trail sites plus many more.
You would also expect a trail with signage, trail head maps, carparking facilities, toilets plus much much more.
If its not legal, dont ride it, dont talk about it, dont expect any directions.
If its a secret trail, stay out and leave it alone. And let it continue to be a secret trail.
Dont spoil it for the local crew.
i wasnt plannin to reck it for the locals i was simply askin if there was anythin that i can ride that wont harm anythin or anyone thats all .
sorry but its their trail to ride.. they put in the work and all ur gonna do is ride on it a decay it.
please tell me were are they coz i go there every holidays and i always ride there i mainly only ride the skato and the bmx track and sometimes the ten mile brook dam but if ur talking about the one jump just next to the trail on the ten mile brook dam that is shit coz theres only one jump with no runup and after the jump there is about 3 metres before you either hit a tree or go flying into the river
yeh i didnt ask in my very first question (does anybody know where special local tracks are) did i no i just asked if there was any. nobody had to tell me there was a local one so have a go at him for knowing not me
now do u know where any jumps are or not?
Hi Tomo, why don't just ask the local bike shop instead of asking us to tell the world where these not so "legal" trails,jumps are ? Another option is to go to the Tourist bureau in Marg's and ask them where you can ride ,there are open on Sundays .The local bike shop"Margaret River Cycles & Repairs"is closed as the owner and staffs are riding.......either XC,DH,BMX,road ..........Have a good time in Marg's.

Yes its the same ol issue again.
The only legal trails in margs That I know of is the rails for trails, a nice well groomed flat trail thats easy to ride on. Lots of fun!!.
Good trails in margs is a question that keeps popping up, more and more often.
A couple of suggestions is to have a list of legal trails. If the trails are not on the list then they dont legaly exist.
Im currently talking to a few of the margs riders about getting some trails legalised, its more about getting people into clubs, committees, contacts, and volunteers. Untill this happens there is going to be the same ol John forrest post over and over again.
This is a forum where questions like this should be able to be answered without having to go underground for infomation on trails.
I have to give you 10 points for asking about them, as it proves youre interested in some good riding down there(margs).
Forget Margaret River, come to Collie, we'll show you all the trials.
thanks guys didnt realise this had bin a previous issue sorry for bringin it up so once again sorry for that think ill just leave my bike at home
as for collie have heard good things about it but theres no way i could get out there i wish i could but i just cant so ill leave u to thrash the trails

Tomo Join hucktoflat.com send me a pm. I know someone who has a friend whos stepbrother from tasmainia has an uncle whos great aunts nephew rides the margs trails.
Im sure he can help you out.

The issue is lack of advocacy on pushing Margs trails to get legalized. If your reading this and live in the Margs area, PM Wal
