Here they are. Sorry but I did not get home from Nannup until 11:35pm on Sunday night and had to teach a full day on Monday, so I am now in the process of recovering and have gotten the results up on the Web. Any how, it was an awesome weekend of racing with all kinds of mayhem (on the race track...in reference to the challenging track).

We had our two local 'World Cup' heros return to WA and both competed in the event with the intention of becoming WA State Champion 2009. Sam Hill and Mitch Delfs were definitely the ones to beat with Ryan 'Chooky' Andrews threatening to be a dark-horse. Well on the race day it was to be the two Bell brothers who fought it out for the final podium spot. The top 30 also had a few surprises as well. The women was no surprise with the current 3rd in world junior women, Holly Baarspul was continuing to find form in 2009.

Congratulations to the 2009 WAMBA State Champions: SAM HILL & HOLLY BAARSPUL!

It was an excellent weekend and the racing was brilliant--thanks heaps to all those who volunteered to put this event together.

Cheers,

See ya all back in 2010!
