what dates?
18th and 19th
Whats the go with the rules, had a bit of a look on the web but it didn't say much.
Do you have to wear a full face helmet, body armour or anything?
When your racing is it just free for all, or is there rules like no touching, no weapons sort of thing?
Would it be alot like a downhill track?
4 at a time, you must maintain your lane for the first 10m, until the lip of the first jump at Pingelly. After that the whole track is yours, no deliberate takeouts but some bumping is to be expected. Hands and feet need to stay on your bike. Full face helmets are compulsory as are bar ends (plugs) front and rear working brakes. The track is kind of like a downhill bmx track only rougher. google pingelly 4x for a few video's of the track.
Hope to see you there.
Hope you guys are all amped for another sick weekend of 4x, still time to get some secret training in at the goaty or your local bmx track.
The event is this weekend guys! who's in?
Cleon has past on to me that there will be food at the track Sunday. Breakfast will be Bacon and eggs, the cost would be $5 for bacon burger and $5 for sausage and softy for lunch.
The buggy (turbo V8) will also be there for the blokes again if people are prepared at $20 a run.
If you don't want to drive Sunday morning, cabins are available for Saturday night.
Hey guys just picked up a load of prizes kindly donated by Clint at Taylors bikes (http://www.taylorsbikeshop.com.au), noticed he had in some new Alpine stars knee armour there along with lots of other cool goodies.
If you need any last minute gear before the race make sure you drop by and support the shops that are supporting races in WA. without them all you would get is the glory.
See you all there.
