Murray Valley XC trails are set in a pine forest and offer traction aplenty. What's more all the climbing is rewarded with superb descents!
Directions from Dwellingup, Drive north east out of Dwellingup on Pinjarra Williams Rd, turn right onto Nanga Rd and drive 6.5km to the Lane Poole Reserve Rangers Gatehouse. Turn Left into the reserve and follow the main road to the Bob's Crossing turn off. Cross Bob's Crossing, immediately after you cross Bob's turn right and follow the road to the area where we will be parked.
Previously to the 2010 State Cross Country Championships this track was last raced in 2002 and has sat dormant since. It has been restored back to original condition by a crew of PMBC members, this is a true MTBer’s course with big climbs and fast descents and has 95% sweet fast flowing single track! The track is relatively short 4.77km but has 180metres of climbing per lap!
Minimal. The nearest town is Dwellingup on the way in. On race weekends toilets will be onsite.
