IMBA Kalamunda Circuit Trail Maintenance Workshop
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
The Camel Farm is a tourist attraction (you could hit the trails on a camel instead of your regular steed if you want). There is parking and a cafe there - and mountain bikers are openly welcome to use their facilities. The Kalamunda Circuit basically runs through the place!
Head down Paulls Valley Rd, which comes off of Mundaring Weir Rd on the left not too far out of Kalumunda.
Nick Bowman from IMBA Australia will be visiting WA in Oct/Nov. As part of his visit he will be conducting workshops on trail maintenance on the Kalamunda Circuit.
The workshops will run all day (exact details to follow), will include a couple of hours of theory, practical work on the trails and a lunch. There will be no fee to attend the workshop.
If you are interested in attending it is essential that you reserve a spot by sending an email to kctrailbuilder@iinet.net.au
This is a repeat of the Saturday workshop for those who couldn't make it.
Were you there and have a story to tell?

WAMBA are very pleased to announce that the Department of Sport and Recreation (DSR) and the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) have agreed to cover the costs of this course in recognition of the importance of trail maintenance and the strategic value of the Perth Hills Trails.
Let's get a great turn out to these workshops to back their faith in the mountain biking community. Only 25 spaces available each day. Drop an email to Murray on the address above to reserve your spot.
