Cape to Cape routes for your GPS
I've had a quick hack at turning the blurry and pixelated maps that C2C have published into track files for my GPS. These are not official, may not be correct, but are just my interpretation of what I've seen from the web site. Here are the first two as .gpx files:
https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B3eUfnYrqu5sMjMwODAwZDgtN2I2Yi00NGIwLWF...
https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B3eUfnYrqu5sNWFjNzI1M2EtMzcxNy00YmRhLTl...
If there is any enthusiasm then I'll probably do the other two stages as well. If there are any corrections (I'm doing all this from the map and with no local knowledge) then please let me know! You can use email to username patrick with domain keogh.net.au

Thanks for these maps. I tried to follow them today. Having done the C2C every year except last I went off track to check out the down hill run from Hamelin Bay to cave Road. To my surprise I ran into the Explorus Adventure Learning Centre right plonk where the fun bit used to be (I think). I remember this downhill being great fun so it's a shame - though I'm not totally sure I was on the right track. Does anyone know? Got a little lost on the last section through Boranup. Just stayed along Point Road to Contis - tough corrugations. A fun day!
Anyway cheers for the map most helpful. I'll be heading out on the route a few tme more this week and will be sure ot hit Carrers and the pine Forest. Yay!
