Kind Shock i900r - adjustable turned suspension seatpost

Hi there,

I know this isn't the ideal place to ask for support for this seat post, but I wanted to see if anyone knows any local Perth bike shops that have experience with it, or anyone who has personally had any experience fixing the issue I'm having.

From a brief search online, it seems some of the earlier models (like mine) have a seal issue causing them to turn into unintended suspension seatposts. I've tried taking it all apart and cleaning and greasing it - minus pulling off the bottom red cap, I can't get to it with pliers and I've no suitable pin spanner (yet), but I don't think this is the cause of the problem.

Awesome post when there was no issues, but I'd now rather pay a local bike shop to check it out than to pay and wait to ship it half way around the world and back. If anybody has any clues, I'm looking forward to your replies.

Cheers.
