Marrinup PMBC XC4
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Marrinup, Freeman Rd, Holyoake WA
Thanks to Avanti Plus in Cannington the Perth Mountain Bike Club are proud to present Round 4 of the XC series.
Information as follows;
Enter off "Freemans Road" (not Bandicoots road).
REMEMBER THERE IS NO PARKING ON FREEMANS ROAD, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
The race is NOT based out of the Marrinup camp ground as it previously has been.
Race parking is on the old Golf course.
Race village, registration and start/finish are all based off the golf course.
2 toilets will be on site on the golf course so you won't have to go back to the camp grounds.
A massive thankyou to DEC and the Murray Districts Carriage Driving Club (horse and carriage that is) for allowing us to use this area.
Rego is from 8am to 9am

| lrjhm3 | 3 out of 3 - stacks that is! | So... Three XC races (Jarradhale, 4HR and Marrinup) and 3 stacks! Yay! Nothing major in the last race at Marrinup, just a small OTB into some shrubbery but I'm looking for the day when I get thru one without hitting the dirt. Strangely enough I did... |

Missed the deadline yesterday, hoping to register today
will there possibly be practise laps available before the forst wave and whats the best way to get there from busselton???
Yes there will be time for practice laps. But like always. The earlier you can get there the better.
Best way from busso is either via south west hwy and then right from pinjarra to dwellingup. Or down the freeway untill lakes road. Come off at lakes and follow to the end. Then right at south west hwy and first left to dwellingup.
Hi there,
The freeway near town has some signs up saying there will be delays on Sunday morning. Please take this into account and leave earlier if you need to travel through Perth on your way to Marrinup.
The sign says that delays are expected from 4am to 10am. That means 2nd wave riders might also be affected. Don't lose your standing in the champs cause you left late; you'll feel like my avatar looks.

Hi all,
I'm no Steven Spielberg and you'll agree with me once you see this video (1- no skill; 2- no time; 3- no software!)
However, it does show you the full lap of the track and I've included some comments (on screen type) for 1st wave riders to show you where to go at the start and also the deviation to slow you down for the timing people when you finish one lap and begin the next.
See you there

p.s. the odd noises coming from me are yawns. Yep, not quite recovered from the previous night.
