For those of you who haven't ridden before, this event provides a great opportunity to take in some different tracks, test your riding skills and legs, and engage your brain at the same time.

Mountain bike orienteering involves navigating between checkpoints using a map and compass in the fastest time possible or at a more social pace.

You can come either for some fast racing against the clock (with no rider hold ups) or else take a more leisurely ride through the bush tracks while solving the navigational riddle.

This is the sixth event of the 2015 MTBO (6 race) state series.
