South West Highway Directions - Langford Park is located on Nettleton Road in Jarrahdale. This is about 45 to 50 minutes drive south from the centre of Perth. You can either go down the South West Highway and turn left onto Nettleton Road just as you leave Byford (Peak petrol station on the corner) and proceed along Nettleton Road until you cross a set of disused train tracks. The entrance to Langford Park will be on your right about 400m after the train line. You will cross the train line again as you enter the park and you should follow the signs at the round about that take you to the lake car park. On race day a marshal will direct you from the round about.

Freeway directions - If you come down the freeway (best for those people from the northern or western suburbs and Fremantle people) exit the freeway at Mundijong Road and turn left towards the hills. Take Mundijong road all the way to the South West Highway and turn right. Take an immediate left into Jarrahdale road and continue up the hill for about 3kms. Nettleton Road will be on your left just after you enter the 60km speed zone. Proceeed for about 1km and Langford Park will be on the left. Drive into the park and you will get to a roundabout, follow the signs at the round about that take you to the lake car park. On race day a marshal will driect you from the round about.

Welcome to the Hardwood 50 for 2016. Moving into its second year this PMBC Marathon event was enjoyed by all last year and we are looking forward to seeing you there for another great day of MTB Racing.

Heading South along Del Park Road:

Turn right onto Scarp Rd, which is unsealed. This about 40 metres past a blue Mundabiddi signpost, which you will see on the left hand side.

A few kms down Scarp Rd, (after passing two 90 degree left-hand side roads by the pine plantation) take the left fork and about 300 metres down you will again turn left and find yourself at the trail head for Turner Hill mountain bike tracks.

We return to one of our best local trails Turner Hill for the second last round of the State Series for the year. Get in and grab some points if your in the mix or come along and have a great race on a great trail

Sprockets will be running on the small loop as usual and the rest on the main loop

The Forsyth's Mill trailhead is located by the corner of Great Eastern Highway and Gorry (also spelt Gorrie) Road past Sawyers Valley - about 1km on the right past the Lake Leschenaultia turn off. It's roughly 45km from the centre of Perth.

Parking for the race and the event hub will be at Farrell Grove picnic ground on Mundaring Weir Road. From Kalamunda follow Mundaring Weir Road eastward out of town for approx 13km. You will see the signage for the carpark on the left - if you get to Mundaring Weir, you've gone too far!!
Note: As always at Kalamunda, space for parking will be tight, KMBC have done a great job of opening up additional parking for the day at Farrell Grove so when you arrive please follow all directions from the parking volunteers. If you can give a ride or share the trip up with a few friends that will ensure the event runs smoothly and we get to race out of Farrell Grove again in future.
