Come on you XC riders! This circuit isn't the usual downhill circuit. The jumps are few and far between and are rollable, no gaps! The rocks are avoidable, easily avoidable and it's a short circuit too - no more than 2mins.

The locals do this as part of their XC group rides and some guys hammer down on hardtails! If you've done Pemberton, then you can do Albany and Albany's berms are 1)easier and 2)much more scenic - you see the southern ocean while on one!

This is what it will look like if you do it:

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Meeting Point:

Dell

The Luvin Shovels trail build crew are really keen to get the trail finished before Gunjin is online. Seems that there is a bit of rivalry starting to occur. Amateur vs pro. Love vs job.

So they will be out there again this Sunday. Meet at the Dell at 8am. Bring sturdy shoes, hat, gloves, water, snacks and some grunt!

Looking forward to meeting all of you who wanted to help last week but were down at the Karri Cup. Come and be a part of this genuinely Black Diamond trail in the Perth Hills!

Ride Database Entry:
Langford Park, Jarrahdale
Meeting Point:

South West Highway Directions - Langford Park is located on Nettleton Road in Jarrahdale. This is about 45 to 50 minutes drive south from the centre of Perth. You can either go down the South West Highway and turn left onto Nettleton Road just as you leave Byford (Peak petrol station on the corner) and proceed along Nettleton Road until you cross a set of disused train tracks. The entrance to Langford Park will be on your right about 400m after the train line. You will cross the train line again as you enter the park and you should follow the signs at the round about that take you to the lake car park. On race day a marshal will direct you from the round about.

Freeway directions - If you come down the freeway (best for those people from the northern or western suburbs and Fremantle people) exit the freeway at Mundijong Road and turn left towards the hills. Take Mundijong road all the way to the South West Highway and turn right. Take an immediate left into Jarrahdale road and continue up the hill for about 3kms. Nettleton Road will be on your left just after you enter the 60km speed zone. Proceeed for about 1km and Langford Park will be on the left. Drive into the park and you will get to a roundabout, follow the signs at the round about that take you to the lake car park. On race day a marshal will driect you from the round about.
