2020 PMBC XCOVID CUP 11.10.2020
PMBC presents Round 3 of the 2020 PMBC COVID CUP which will be held on the trails of the Kalamunda MTB Circuit in Paulls Valley. This is the third and final race of a Cross Country Olympic (XCO) ‘Super Series’ that was organised post COVID-19 restrictions in WA.
This final race of the series takes competitors to Farrell Grove, in Paulls Valley, 10 minutes East of Kalamunda where the event will be held on trails that form part of the Kalamunda MTB Circuit. The 5.45 km lap will include Up Up and Away, Scorpion, Creek Trail, Feral Groove and a couple of sections of fire road, all up 110 meters of elevation per lap. Sprockets will be racing on a shorter blue course.
Grades consistent with the usual XCO State Series will be in place, however, please note that that there will be no grade changes during this series so please ensure you enter a grade consistent with your ability. If you are unsure of which grade to enter please private message the club through the Facebook page or email info@perthmtb.asn.au for advice prior to entry. There will be no entries on the day.
Please ensure you bring your race plate from Round 1 or 2, or if you didn’t race either Rounds then you will need to purchase a $5 plate in the registration process. Plates will be available for collection on race day at the registration tent. Grades, laps and start times are included in the table below. Laps and distance may be updated depending on conditions on race day and at the discretion of the PMBC Race Team.
