2024 Auscycling WA XCO State Champs
Goat Farm, Greenmount
Perth Mountain Bike Club return to the city based Goat Farm for the 2024 State Champs. This is going to be a fantastic race that will push your limits and challenge you, but at the same time be fun and ridable for all grades.
Entry fees:
Entry costs are increased for the 2024 State Champs. Official practice on Saturday with St John on site creates extra cost. We make all our races through the year very reasonable in cost so feel this increase is acceptable for State Champs.
Race Plates:
IMPORTANT: Please ensure you enter your Yellow 2024 Race plate number into the question during entry. If you do not have one Please enter 0 then you will be issued with a plate to use for the rest of the season (Not Required for U9/13 Riders)
Please note there is no practice allowed on E-bikes. Any use of E-bikes during Saturday practice will result in a DSQ on race day. Please ensure you practice on the bike you will be riding in the race with your race plate attached during practice.
State Series Podium:
Course:
Official practice will be from 1.00pm to 4.00pm on Saturday the 24th then Race day starting from 8.45am. Laps listed below are preliminary and will be confirmed at the race briefing 15 mins before the start of each wave. It is strongly encouraged to ride the course during practice so you are ready for the race.
Sarah Tucknott – Ladies Pre Ride
All women are invited to join Sarah Tucknott for a pre-ride of the State Champs course at 9am on Saturday 24/8/24. We would love to see lots of ladies out racing the XCO State Champs, however, we understand the Goat Farm can be a daunting place to ride. So, if you are worried about the technicality of the course or just keen for some insight into the course before the race – then please come along. We hope this pre-ride can inspire confidence and encourage more women to race State Champs.

After the race
Event Parking:
Park in the marked bays in the main car park. Once the car park is full please park in the overflow area as per the race day email which will be sent Friday night prior to the event.
Registration:
You must register online before 8pm on Friday the 23rd of August. As usual, there will be no entries on race day.
Registration tent for those without a number plate will be from 7.30am. If you have a plate already you are good to go. If you have forgotten your plate on the day come and see the folks at the rego tent.
