The trail network
New Super Fast Circuit!!
We are excited to offer a great contrast to Saturdays trail and the previous years circuit.
The 5.7km circuit is super fast and has the best grip available in WA!!! All the trails are hand built, fun, fast and flat!! .
We are excited to present you with the opportunity to race on these trails again this year and further blow you away with what trails are available and being developed in the Collie/ Wellington Dam region, including the very popular new Kylie trail 1km away and 20 plus km of new trails at Wellington Dam, completed last year.
There will be an opportunity to practice on these trails any day prior to the race following the attached map and fully marked for official practice between 7-8am on the Race Day.
There are new jump lines near the Start/Finish area to keep active kids entertained and a fantastic beautiful crystal clear lake next to the trails to cool off in. The trails are great for spectators with plenty of access points to easily watch the race at multiple points with a short walk between each.
Join us on Sunday 3rd of March in Collie for the second round of the Cross Country Olympic (XCO) 2023 state series and the final round of the South 32 Wambenger Cup, with the first round being on the Saturday morning at Potters Gorge- Wellington Dam.
We’ll be following a similiar format to previous events in the XCO state series with Women’s, Men’s and Sprocket’s categories. PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE NOW HAVE A D CLASS FOR WOMEN NOVICE/BEGINNER RIDERS AND E GRADE FOR MEN.
The event centre will be located on the Collie High School Sports Grounds just 1 min from the town centre and presentations at 1pm in the Town Centre park stage (details below).
